CHIOMA
Founder & Publisher, Editorial Director

Chioma is unique. Not only because of her name sake but the manner, zeal, determination and, unwavering faith in herself and her abilities to simply getting it done. She emigrated to Canada as a young refugee with her family from Nigeria and settled in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Chioma understood early on that education would be the key that would secure her future and provide the platform to achieving her dreams. After she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in St. Mary's University in Halifax Nova Scotia she embarked for the bright lights and opportunities that beckoned in Toronto.

Trying to establish herself, Chioma excelled in the retail fashion industry. An unforeseen loss of her job and a series of unfortunate events landed her living on the streets. This circumstance did not deter Chioma from her dreams but strengthen her resolve to reach her goals.

The birth of Chioma's real estate sales career was born. Without a car and dozens of rejects from real estate companies she was able to get her foot in the door and belief from one real estate manager. She soon established herself as a top agent within real estate and a leader among her peers.

Chioma then turned her talents to motivational speaking within the school system. She shared her victories and defeats and the importance of education to over 250,000 children. Her philanthropic activities include giving financial aide to children at the Yonge Street Mission as well as establishing the Chioma Talks Scholarship Fund. More importantly, she guided youth with the tools required to succeed in life.

Chioma established a quarterly free publication with a major publishing company within the greater GTA. She is now the publisher and founder of the new national magazine, AMÖI. It has been received with much fanfare and praise from the Canadian and international community.
