Celebrate the winter months and cook with fresh winter vegetables. Adding a little extra flavour to your dishes is a simple step with the help of seasonal ingredients such as artichokes, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, and sweet potatoes. Recently, I visited Massachusetts and Maine for a New England getaway. I enjoyed eating my way through the quaint New England towns, dining on regional fare such as steamed lobster, fried clams, oysters on the half shell and clam chowder.
