She is back. After eight years of self-imposed exile, Benazir Bhutto's return to Pakistan this past October was anything but welcoming. As her caravan edged through the streets of Karachi, a suicide bomber set off two bomb blasts near the former prime minister's van, killing over 130 people. While many people would book a ticket on the next flight out of Pakistan, Bhutto, the leader of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), did the exact opposite. Instead of fleeing from her birth country, Bhutto held a press conference the day after the blasts.
